These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sageloop AI (the "Service") provided by Sageloop AI Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By using sageloopai.com, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Sageloop AI provides an AI-powered chat widget that you can embed on any website to answer visitor questions about your products, services, policies, and more. The Service can ingest content you provide — website URLs, documents, Q&A pairs, and optional integrations — to train personalised AI responses.

2. Accounts

• You must create an account at app.sageloopai.com and provide accurate information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to bind your business to these Terms
• If you use the Shopify integration, you must also comply with Shopify's Terms of Service

3. Use of Service

Permitted Use

• Embed Sageloop AI on websites you own or manage
• Use the AI to answer visitor questions related to your business, products, and services
• Upload FAQs, documents, and corrections to improve your AI agent

Prohibited Use

• Use the Service to violate any law, including consumer protection or spam laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the AI models
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Use the Service to compete with Sageloop AI by building a similar product

4. Fees and Billing

• Paid plans are billed directly by Sageloop AI Inc. every 30 days (or through Shopify for merchants who install via the Shopify App Store)
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by law
• We may change prices with 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification
• If you exceed your plan's AI reply limit, overage charges may apply or service may pause until the next billing cycle

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Sageloop AI, you instruct us to process your website content, integration data, and visitor chats to provide the Service. You represent that you have the right to share this data and have disclosed AI use to visitors as required by applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

• We own all rights to Sageloop AI software, models, and branding
• You retain ownership of your business data, website content, and uploaded documents
• You grant us a license to use your content solely to provide and improve the Service for you

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that AI answers will be 100% accurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI responses and correcting errors via Supervised Training. We are not liable for sales lost due to incorrect AI answers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sageloop AI Inc.'s total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

9. Termination

• You may close your account at any time from the dashboard, which terminates these Terms
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in-app at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
